I saw Mr. Wauters post about Omega leading in the post count for Watch Brands. I just checked and Omega is nearly DOUBLE than Rolex, and scores more than anyone else. Mr. Houston is no doubt smiling right now. Let's keep it going!:)
I have heard mention of some of Omega's vintage calibre's being of superior quality than others. Would it be possible to rank the movements with a little justification? I am continuously seeking out vintage watches and could really use information on the quality of the calibres. Are the 70's calibre's really inferior to the 60's? If so, in which way? I like the looks of the slim 70's day/date watches but not so sure if the movement will run as well as my 60's movements. Thanks for any information you are able to provide!

I bought my Speedmaster Date 3513.30 13 months ago new from an AD and I'm most definitely not getting the full claimed 44 hours out of the power reserve. I usually only wear it a few hours at a time as I don't work with it on, am I wrong to assume it should be capable of going for a full 40+ hours after wearing it for about 4 or 5 straight? Seems odd I have to reset the time every other day on a watch that is only barely a year old.
