Panerai PAM356 wrist watches news:
Question if anyone can answer the NH35 is used in a lot of Invicta watches now I saw the NH36A has the day/date they are both seiko movements would the 36A replace a 7S26 in a diver case Just saying
Someone suggested Timesaplenty as good place to find some vintage bands for my older watches. I went with a NOS Baldwin gold filled band with semi-solid bracelet on either side and the expansion band on the bottom (is there a name for this type?).I had received a JB Champion bracelet in the same style with another Lord Elgin I bought awhile back and really liked it. The Baldwin has the same comfortable fit.The JB Champions and some other bands retail up to $195, but the Baldwin was more in my price range.Anyway, I think it gives the watch a time appropriate look and the gold band does look a bit flashier than a black leather band.
Hey everyone! Happy Sunday! Opinions needed from the AP crowd. What do you guys think... Flip my Panerai 233 and DJ2 Blue Roman for a 15400?...most likely a white dial. I tried one on a few weeks back and that damn bracelet won't get outta my head!! Only issue is, this will then be my only real nice watch, as I thinned out my other Pams and Rolex's a while ago, and rotate between those 2, among a couple beaters. Any input would be appreciated!
Should I trade my 5711 Blue and my rose gold DD40 Green dial for a white dial 5980/1A plus cash my way?I¡¯ve had the 5711 since new for a year and a half and it¡¯s only been worn a handful of times due to it feeling very delicate compared to my Rolex and AP. The gold DD40 does get worn but I¡¯m not sure that gold suits me or my lifestyle.
Does anyone know if swapping the bezels affects the price of a GMT II?I have seen GMT Black bezels for way less than a Pepsi, and even buying an overpriced pepsi bezel (and then swapping them), the black plus new bezel is still cheaper than buying a pepsi on its ownAm I missing something here?
