Cl¨¦ de Cartier Mysterious Hour Watch
The Cartier Cl¨¦ ("Cl¨¦ de Cartier") Mysterious Hour watch is probably my favorite new Cartier men's watch model debuted here at Watches & Wonders 2015 in Hong Kong. It is actually a combination of three existing Cartier elements. First, is the also new-for-2015 Cl¨¦ de Cartier watch (hands-on here) collection case. Next, is the in-house made Cartier caliber 9981 MC which was debuted in 2013. And last, is a presentation of Cartier's particular form of semi-skeletonized dial that we have seen from almost the beginning of Cartier's higher-end "haute horology" collection of timepieces.In 2013, I went hands-on with the Rotonde de Cartier Mystery watch that was inspired by historic Cartier clocks which use transparent discs to move hands. These were dubbed "mystery clocks" because it was not obvious how the hands were connected given the illusion that they were floating. air-king with interesting history
Hi....I am new to the forum and I am in a dilema, Help........I have an 5700 air king with date..........I purchased it last year from the widow of a member of the R.A.F. who after the war (world war II ) was recruited by PAN AM..........when he retired in 1975...PAN AM presented him the rolex. When I bought it 35 years later I was the first to wear it, it had never been worn, he prefered a watch that his wife had bought him on her wedding day ! ............I have alway wanted a Submariner 16610 and now finally 2 days ago I bought one, so this is the problem......I need to sell the air-king to finance the Sub, you wouldn't believe me if I told you how much I paid for it (the Sub).........now should I give up eating, the car and holidays and keep the air- king, or should I sell it !!!! Thats the dilema

Why am I winding an auto
Was winding my 16203 one morning, as usual about every other morning or so, and it went slack and quit running. Sent to NY RSC and about 5 wks later got watch back as new. I mean it was as new, for 590.00 of course. However I still have to wind it every other or third day as before. I wear it every day all day and take it off at nite. Is it normal to have to do this. Bought a Seiko auto in Singapore in 1968 and finally quit wearing it 20 yrs later because I was sick of it and never wound it. Sorry for long post but I thought auto was auto.

A real mix of styles
I just saw another interesting Longines on eBay:cgi.ebay.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=280407976218Seems to be a mix between a dive watch and a pilot's watch. The dial reminiscent of the Lindbergh Hour Angle watch, but the case and bezel is a dive watch through and through. The bezel itself looks like a sub bezel, but there hare many lookalikes out there.What do people think? Is this a franken, or was there a genuine Longines that looked like this one? I certainly haven't seen anything like it before.

Omega 562 caliber
Hi guys I recently acquired a Seamaster with a 562 caliber movement, I would like to know how can it be adjusted, its got a swan neck system. Regards Francois
