Invicta 0370 wrist watches news:
Bring A Loupe kicks off 2016 with an unexpected selection: the watches featured today are not the usual crowd-pleasing favorites but, for one reason or another, they deserve more attention than they generally get. We've found a fantastic vintage dress watch from Rolex, and a modern Seiko Credor with a moon phase complication. I will also highlight some of the best – and worst – listings from eBay this past week, from a very promising Gallet to a sadly fraudulent Breitling Top Time. This is your Bring A Loupe for January 1, 2016, and I wish you a Happy New Year! Rolex Oyster Perpetual Reference 1013, With A Rose Gold Case 1 OF 11 I consider the 101X line as one of the greatest successes in Rolex vintage production. Think about it: you have the reference 1016, an amazing Explorer, and the reference 1019, a super attractive Milgauss. Besi
Adam has mentioned how important it is to do your homework. Here's a perfect example:I want a caliber 30L for my Longines collection. I recently had one bought unseen which turned out not to be what I was looking for. It wasn't in the type of condition I would feel comfortable selling it in, so I had it serviced and restored. After eBay and Paypal took their cuts and my watchmaker got paid, at least I nearly got my money back out of it. I thought I found it with this watch:Vintage LONGINES Silver Arrow, 18 kts gold, excellent - eBay (item 230494786557 end time Jul-09-10 12:54:34 PDT)Nice, right? From "How a Hamilton Watch Deserves to be Treated. . . ""Best results are obtained by winding your watch at a regular hour, preferably in the morning, say when you sit down to breakfast. By so doing you better prepare your watch for the jolting or daytime use."-The Hamilton Watch, The Watch of Railroad Accuracy, p. 15
Hi guys. Thanks for a great and an informative forum ! I have a couple of watches which means my AP 15300 sometimes are left in the safe box. However should I leave the watch just laying in the box without using a winder, or should I use a watch winder ? IF so, what setting should I use ? Thank you for your help guys !!
Finally a nice day here in Chicago!!! I just love the way the 15300 looks in the sun!!
