Ulysse Nardin 243-55-62 wrist watches news:
SIHH is becoming a cloudy memory, but just in time there's yet another Swiss watch show right around the corner that goes by the name of "Basel World" - perhaps you've heard of it? While there will be plenty of big reveals done during the show itself, we're starting to get word of some of the new models ahead of time. One that's grabbed our attention early on, is this new Alpina Startimer that's going by the name, Sunstar. Now, if you're familiar with Alpina, you know that they've got quite the range of aviation watches, stemming from the fact that they supplied watches to military aviators in the first half of the twentieth century. That means it's not much of a leap for them to come up with a new model. While I'm not deeply familiar with others in the Startimer line, I do know that the Sunstar is a sharp-looking piece. As is befitting for an aviator watch, the 44mm case is treated to a satin finish (the better to reduce reflections) and is topped with an AR-coated sapphire crystal. I have auto and quartz movement watches. I ride a Motorcycle (Harley) It has a good amount of vibration at times. My question is should I use a quartz watch when riding or is an auto tough enough to handle constant vibration. My personal feelings it to use the quartz for riding as the vibration in time usually destroys things. Does anyone have any input on this issue? Thanks,G
Guys, First and foremost, good morning to you all! I have recently noticed some scratches on my 15400ST.OO.1220ST.02 R.O. and I just can't seem to get over them. I was wondering if anybody had their bracelet polished by the AP factory, and if so, how long does this take and how much are they charging for this? Also, is it possible to refinish the bracelet alone without any intervention on the watch itself? And the second, more radical option: where would I be able to buy a replacement bracelet for my watch? Needless to say that I don't have an authorised AP dealer in my country.. Also, do you have an idea about how much would it cost to buy a new bracelet? (I'm talking steel here)Thanks and best regards,Calin
Good evening everyone,My omega AD called to let me know they could place me on a list for the new ck2998 speedmaster. I'm contemplating maybe just getting a FOIS or seamaster master co-axial diver 41mm. I like versatility with my timepieces swapping out nato straps, leather bands, and bracelets at times. I would have to source a bracelet for the speedys if I do choose that model. I know they are 2 different watches but just want to hear everyones thoughts considering the ck is a LE piece. Thanks in advance!
I tried my best to get a visible watch picture but with a little lume glowing.Anyone else got similar pics?
