Question on manual winding
Hello everyone. I got my Jazzmaster Viewmatic this week. I was advised to manually wind the watch to build up the power reserve, but the crown, does not seem to want to wind without considerable effort.I'm probably just squeamish out of inexperience, but should it take any ooomph to wind it? I've adjusted the date and time and it's running fine, although it did run down once.Thanks in advance for your help.

Ready to Purchase - AP ROC 26331. Now for some questions...
I am on the runway so to speak to obtain this piece (blue dial!) and I have never dealt with the AP boutique, an AP AD , or a trusted seller (e.g. DavidSW) on such a purchase. It's my first major high end watch purchase so I want to do this right. So, here are some thoughts and questions for the AP forum folks (and by the way, thanks for all of the education I've received in reading these many threads!)1.Want it shipped to avoid sales tax (so, other considerations aside, this leaves out the boutique as I live in NY). Unless the extra warranty period is worth paying the sales tax, and full retail price. Has anyone made this tradeoff specifically for their AP purchases?2.I am interested in finding the best deal possible.
