Invicta 21968 wrist watches news:
What a wonderful time of year, when many brands start to slowly show what they have been working on for SIHH 2015. Cartier is kicking off the new watch season with their announcement of the Rotonde De Cartier Annual Calendar, a nicely balanced and innovative (yet decidedly Cartier) expression of the complication that only needs to be set once a year. A complication of this sort manages to sit between Cartier's more standard high-end watch production and its haute horology department. Though with an in-house movement and precious metal case, it certainly leans a bit toward the latter.Available in 18k white or pink gold, the?Rotonde De Cartier Annual Calendar measures 40mm wide and 13.26mm thick. While the dial may pack a great deal of information, the case is minimal, with a polished finish and short lugs. The crown, in true Cartier fashion, is adorned with a blue cabochon sapphire that matches nicely with the blued steel hour and minute hands. While annual calendar complications aren't
We are already in September and the big event is creeping upon us........Are you all ready to go..????
Hello everyone. I got my Jazzmaster Viewmatic this week. I was advised to manually wind the watch to build up the power reserve, but the crown, does not seem to want to wind without considerable effort.I'm probably just squeamish out of inexperience, but should it take any ooomph to wind it? I've adjusted the date and time and it's running fine, although it did run down once. Thanks in advance for your help.
I am on the runway so to speak to obtain this piece (blue dial!) and I have never dealt with the AP boutique, an AP AD , or a trusted seller (e.g. DavidSW) on such a purchase. It's my first major high end watch purchase so I want to do this right. So, here are some thoughts and questions for the AP forum folks (and by the way, thanks for all of the education I've received in reading these many threads!)1.Want it shipped to avoid sales tax (so, other considerations aside, this leaves out the boutique as I live in NY). Unless the extra warranty period is worth paying the sales tax, and full retail price. Has anyone made this tradeoff specifically for their AP purchases?2.I am interested in finding the best deal possible. At least one AD emphasized (while complimenting my choice, of course) that ¡°it¡¯s a rare watch¡± which I assume is their way of saying ¡°we can get one, but don¡¯t expect a discount (or much of one)¡±. I¡¯d be curious if any other forum members have had this experience. I have
Just walked past my local AD there¡¯s one of these sitting in the window today : Gold and Black Daytona with diamond. Can¡¯t post link as am under the limit. LolI thought there were supposed to be hard to get? or is it the diamonds putting people off?Retail price is as per Rolex main site. I¡¯m not affiliated in any way just know that people are obsessed by Daytona¡¯s.
