Jaeger Lecoultre 1946 bumper 476
It's currently in the shop, it was losing lik 10mn a day, it's a 1946 Jeager-Lecoultre, everything is original except the band. I'm getting it back this week and thinking of a nice wide leather military strap to replace the old one. Would anyone have any suggestions, or history on this really nice piece? I've always had some apprehension about larger sized watches. Currently my Wakmann triple date chrono is biggest at 38mm. Well, I threw caution to the wind and just received this 42mm Tissot Navigator Automatic chrono today. I think it looks fine and I could probably go to 44mm. I'd like to find a 22mm bracelet with slightly curved ends, because the dial color is going to be hard to match or contrast with a leather strap.
