Invicta 10548 wrist watches news:
Watch maker Martin Braun recently announced that he is going to go independent from the Franck Muller Group (who are financially in horrid shape right now). Why is Martin able to do this? Because his watches are popular enough and also a good value. Not sure about the minor details about his going independent, but is certainly happening, and the new batch of watches are coming out in about 6 months from now. I had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Braun personally once. He is a nice guy and really into watch making. Has a good eye for detail, and is more of an artist and technician than business man in my opinion (a good thing). Most all of his watches are good to own. You might like some more than others, but here is a nicely designed good value timepiece that reminds me of a more refined Montblanc timepiece. Funny how both Martin Braun and Montblanc are often appreciated to "MB." This is the steel and black version of the Brand Chrono watch.? It is 42mm wide and has a Swiss ETA Valjoux
Some love it. Some hate it. Some are indifferent about it. But whatever you think of the DDII in Platinum, in the end, it's a pretty awesome timepiece and pretty darn expensive for a DD. And, ya gotta love this ad if you're a Rolex lover. If I ever hit it big, and accumulate all the stuff I want, car-wise and furnishings for the house-wise, then maybe I'd consider one of these. Nahhhh, I still wouldn't spend THAT much on it. I'd get the WG Daytona with Meteorite dial instead. It's more my speed.Me in St Thomasjust trying it on, unfortunately that was all.One of these days...This watch has "me" written all over it"Buy it, Mister"Cheers,Steve R
How long is the lifetime of a watch battery?A battery life varies usually from two to five years depending on the type of the watch, its dimensions and the quantity of energy requested by the different functions. For instance, a chronograph will have a higher energy consumption than a watch indicating the hours and minutes only. Most HAMILTON watches feature a power reserve indicator: When the seconds hand starts jumping every four seconds, it is time to have the battery replaced by a HAMILTON qualified watchmaker.Source: hamiltonwatch
I've been looking for a good deal on a 15400 here in Brasil and cound't find one. I talked To my grey dealer and he managed To get a really good deal on a 15300 instead and sent me the pictures below. I know its getting hard To find one, specially in good condition. My collection is composed by a 26400 (44mm and sportie), Pam090 (44 and sportie), Gmt 116710 (40 and sportie) and an Explorer 16570 (polar, 40 and sportie). I am trading my Pam and the Gmtc plus Us$1300 cash for the 15300. What do you guys think?
I am considering a j serial (2007-2008). Since it is one of the earlier panerai made movements, should I be concerned? Thank you in advance.
