IWC is adding a stainless-steel version of the Spitfire Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month Chronograph. Initially launched in 2012 in red gold, the reference IW379107 is the only IWC pilot watch to show the date and month digitally in the form of four large numerals. The 46-mm, stainless-steel case is a welcome modification to this reference. 1 OF 2 At first look, the watch is incredibly elegant for a modern chronograph. The hearty stainless-steel case maintains the same elegant lines as its predecessor in 18k red gold. The shimmering anthracite dial with bold Arabic numerals clearly displays the two subsidiary dials for hacking seconds (complete with small red hand) combined with leap year, and 12-hour and 60-minute registers. Flanking the white hour and minute hands are the twin aperture digital date and month display, clearly marked under each set making it easy to read at a quick glance.   2 OF 2 The automatic movement is the same caliber 89801

Good Evening/Morning, Everyone.I am looking to purchase my first Omega. I was given 2 vintage pieces when my grandfather passed away and at the moment a Rolex is out of reach price wise. I also tend to gravitate towards the Daytona which is out of reach for the moment. I really like how the Speedy looks and wears. I just have a few questions about the major differences between the Speedy Pro and Regular models.Are there any references/calibers that have proven to be problematic, have issues, or that I should try and find?I've been looking on EBay and even though I tend to stay away from online purchases, the particular seller I have found has literally dozens of Speedy's and good feedback. I also would be protected by PayPal protection. I have attached a few links to some of the watches I have looked at. The seller is in Japan. After 3 years of drooling my beautiful blue beast should arrive tomorrow
I have been following this piece for 3 years and the wait is almost over thanks to my friend David Farkas (perpetualman88). I remember in 2011 My AD handed me a Patek Philippe Magazine and said maybe someday you'll want a Patek. I had purchased Panerais and Rolexes but never thought I would spend that type of serious money on a watch. I opened up the PP magazine and saw an article on this beautifully strange piece and said to my wife this is the one I want to own someday. She laughed and didn't take me too seriously. I did not want to own it due to its perceived collectability or rareness but simply because it spoke to me. After this article on the 5235G there was limited information on the piece. There were delays as we all know as the movement and dial were not easy to make. Patek had even gone as far as to take it off their website. Thinking of a Skydweller
TRF,I have blue omega seamaster currently and am about to get my first Rolex. I have decided on the Skydweller because I really like the looks and complication of the watch. I am thinking that I like the Black Skydweller and my question is should I go for the the SS or TT model. The watch would be for daily wear with business clothes. My AD doesn¡¯t have a SD in stock (no surprise), so I will be getting on the list. What are your thoughts on the Black SS bs TT?Regards,NB
