The January-February issue of WatchTime is on newsstands now (and on Nook, Kindle, and the WatchTime app for iOS and Android), featuring in-depth watch tests of the IWC Ingenieur Automatic AMG Black Series Ceramic, Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe, and Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon NEDU, a reference guide to the watch industry’s quality marks, a gallery of blue-dial beauties, and more. Click here for highlights from the issue… ? In our cover story, “One for the Road,” Jens Koch tests the auto-racing influenced IWC Ingenieur AMG Black Series Ceramic in an altogether appropriate setting: inside the cockpit of a Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster. Another retro themed watch from Breitling? Who'd have thought it? The brand we love to love, but that itself hates the Internet (just visit their website and you'll know what I mean) brings us a new watch with the Breitling Cosmonaute Automatic Chronograph. Sort of an overly simplistic name if you ask me, but I like the whole connection with space travel. Interestingly enough, the watch has the word "cosmonaute" (cosmonaut) in it that I at least associate with Russian astronauts, but the watch is meant to celebrate an American feat. So what exactly is going on here in the Breitling marketing department? It used to be that watch companies mostly focused on the American space industry, but now you have an incredible shift in focusing on the Russian - and to smaller extent Japanese - space programs. I believe it is because Omega has the US market cornered with the Speedmaster Moonwatch, and Russians are buying watches like mad (and will again as soon as the economy?? rounds itself out a b
Does anyone have the measured dimensions of the 37mm Viewmasters (3245xxxx)?Lug-to-lug?Case Thickness (especially this)?I am looking at one of these watches on the leather band (32455555, 32455735, 32445555) and have small wrists (6.25 inch). Also, what do you think of the rose gold on this watch? It looks great in the photo, but I visited my AD yesterday and they had 4 watches. The next closes AD is 100 miles away and I'm not driving at these gas prices Thanks,Denver
I noticed some great vintage looking watches in the new King Kong movie. The watches are fairly large, so I'm thinking they are modern versions. The problem is I can't identify them as being Hamilton's or whatever.Does anyone know??
I'm wondering what's your policy on polished AP RO that's been polished outside the service center? Is it a no-go? Why?Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
