Omega 123.50.35.20.08.001 wrist watches news:
IMO, a stunner. Worth the exorbitant price I paid.
I'm new to watch restoration and repair. I use to restore and repair clocks. When the top of the hour happens in my house the walls shake with the multiple chimes going off. Watch collecting is a better choice they are smaller "unlike clocks" and take less room plus you can not wear the clock; "Well some of the Russian watches today are like wearing a clock on your wrist.." Here are my current resources, please add yours to this post.Esslinger Jewelry Supplies Tools Watch Parts & all Jewelry Findings Watch Bands "open to public"Star Time Supply "need to meet some requirements before they sell to you"
Good morning everyone! I'm in need of a bit of help, I think I'd like to buy a vintage Omega Seamaster from a friend but I can't seem to google exactly the information I'm looking for to make a wise decision. It's running but of course not real well, and the face is pretty grungy. Well without further ado ... Here he is: I really like the watch. I'm assuming it's a calibre 354 and then the serial number will somehow date it. I'm used to Rolex, so much easier to date and research. I'll certainly get rid of the speidel band ..... lol, or does that make the watch? Thanks for any help I can get. I just love these old pieces. Needless to say: it was a moment in time. OKSo while reading some watch history I saw Patek made a digital.Does anyone have a pic???Know where I can find one, I could not find one.Any idea as to their value?
I’m having a tough time deciding between the Sub, SubC, and the new Sea Dweller. I read some previous threads and am more confused than ever. A bit about me:-I never look at the date complication on my watch, I don’t even set the date on watches that have it -I do a ton of research and contemplating beforehand, and then never sell any of my watches-I have 6 3/4” wrists-I own an Explorer 1-Comfortable with the price difference between all 3 watchesWhat I see as the positives and negatives of eachND Sub:P-Cleanest dialP-Under the RadarN-Have an Explorer 1 and worry that if I added a bezel and replaced the numbers I’d have a sub. This is the least differentiated from the Explorer. Sub Date:P-Has a bit more differentiation from my Explorer due to the cyclopsP-Bit more wrist presence/visually more interesting by comparison to the ND Sub but still understatedN-I don’t even set the date/look at the date on any of my watchesSeadweller 43:P-Wrist presence- I like t
