Jaeger LeCoultre 278.25.22 wrist watches news:
As an homage to Japan and to raise some charity money, Ladoire has produced this piece unique version of their Roller Guardian Time (RGT) watch. They call it the "Origin of the Sun," and it really is one big fanboy nod from Lionel Ladoire to Japanese Culture. The Roller Guardian Time is a very unique timepiece in the world of high-end watch making. You really need to get to know Mr. Ladoire to appreciate it and understand the lifestyle around it. With a unique shape and design, it is a special member of the world of independent horology. I first wrote about the Ladoire RGT watch here a few years ago.The premise of the large timepiece is to have a retrograde hour indicator, subsidiary minute and seconds dial, and a large second time zone hand. To make a long story short I worked for David Hobbs for 4 years, and as a gift for christmas one year, I recieved a Honda B.A.R. seiko watch. If you have them post some pics, I would like to see what other teams have done.
...ing for your watch. Boscoe's SWI thread, which had a couple of shots of the beautiful box his watch came in, got me to thinking about my favorites when it comes to packaging for a watch. I really look at nice watch boxes as sort of a bonus that comes with buying a nice watch. Below are my favorites. What are yours? Show us, please!Zodiac: a box within a box within a bok. Sort of like those Russian nesting dolls!Tissot: Literature included.
