Squeezed The Trigger Again.
Just bought the LV today...well sort of. I was after another Rolex (SD bought three weeks ago) before the prices went up and decided on the LV since the DSSD is way too much. Flipped back and forth from AD to AD trying to get the best deal possible and finally decided. The discount was 16% but what I was really after was a no interest in-house payment plan. So 20% down and up to a year to pay (if needed) and I locked in the LV before the 10% (???) in Canada.I don't need the watch right away as I am digesting the SD financially. So a green sub to the Irishman. :D:D:D:DOh yeah, the wife doesn't know. Eventually she's going to demand a rolex, I see it coming.

Just Pulled the Trigger, Rolex Explorer
Well Finally! I have purchased my first Rolex! An explorer II, white face. This is a watch I have always liked, and I just happened to find one for a great price. I'm leaving town Til sunday, so hopefully I will have it early next week. The wait is almost literally going to kill me. Here is pic from the seller.P.S Many more pics to come once I get it!!

Finding a Watch for a Friend (tricky and picky!)
Alright so my friend who as a graduation present purchased the GO for me (which I love dearly, yeah we're good buds) is now in search of a watch. He is pretty watch savvy, but a little bit torn over what to get. What he's currently got is a Rolex Day-Date in Champagne which he never wears.The requirements are probably a bit on the dreamy side:The budget is ~$10,000-20,000 give or take.Must be on bracelet, not strap.Must be precious metal, not steel or titanium.Must be in-house, automatic movement.He was looking into the VC Overseas Chrono and he is a BIG fan of Lange (but it's out of the price range). Any suggestions guys? EDIT: I'm not buying it, I can't afford that (but I wish I could if but simply to repay the favor) :Phe's just looking into one for himself.

Those Little Hour Markers ......What Are They Called.......
....Ok , You know how lots of watches don't have numbers to mark the hours.......I just read a description of a Bulova watch and they called them "batons" ....and they were a simple applied straight gold line.....and I call some of them "arrow" cause they look like arrow heads.....Now I know that there are specific names for the different type of watch hands ,.......are there specific names for those hour markders ?
