JFK and Hamilton?
I know that JFK was presented with a Hamilton watch that had his kids' faces on the dial, but I think I read here once that JFK wore a Viewmatic as his daily watch? The Viewmatic is a modern model and I have never seen a photo of JFK wearing a watch other than his Omega at innagauration. Does anyone here know for sure if he really did wear a Hamilton? I'm sure the Hamilton presentation was well regarded but I can't see the President wearing it daily. Thanks for any insight!

I've been studying watches a lot lately and have started to zero in on some interesting rules of design that relate to 'on-wrist' proportions for various wearer circumstances as well as visual illusions that impact our perception of a watch face with respect to aesthetics. I thought I'd share some of my discoveries. The first discovery relates to weather a watch looks as big as its measurements, or if it looks larger or smaller.
