IWC IW516102 wrist watches news:
I know that JFK was presented with a Hamilton watch that had his kids' faces on the dial, but I think I read here once that JFK wore a Viewmatic as his daily watch? The Viewmatic is a modern model and I have never seen a photo of JFK wearing a watch other than his Omega at innagauration. Does anyone here know for sure if he really did wear a Hamilton? I'm sure the Hamilton presentation was well regarded but I can't see the President wearing it daily. Thanks for any insight!
folks, one of my favorite things is to look at pictures here on the forum.the beauty and artistry is amazing here with all of the talented photographers.this request is just a reminder of the photo posting rules that JBHII set forth .see this please 74.50.21.220/~watch18/forums/showthread.php?t=23so please, when posting your pics please size them for the 800x600 maximum for posting on WTF.. this size is maximum that seems to fit on a regular monitor, in this format.this ensures that the full experience of viewing your pics will be realized.thank you,:Ddiver88 MODERATOR Japanese and Asian Forum
I've been studying watches a lot lately and have started to zero in on some interesting rules of design that relate to 'on-wrist' proportions for various wearer circumstances as well as visual illusions that impact our perception of a watch face with respect to aesthetics. I thought I'd share some of my discoveries. The first discovery relates to weather a watch looks as big as its measurements, or if it looks larger or smaller. Take this quick test and I'll follow with my analysis. The facts about these two watches are obscured but legible, at the bottom border of the picture. Don't cheat! just first answer, then look down. Here's the question"which watch appears largest and why?"Watch_fc_Illusion.jpg

Given that there is a new clasp for the bracelet. Will there be a similar one for leather straps?Or is there already one?
