So I bought an Oris BC4, with black case, black strap, non-chrono....pre-owned!I had an Oris BC3 Sportsman 42mm, which I sold on eBay. I really preferred the BC4.I bought the BC4 watch from a top store in Montreal that sells pre-owned watches (mostly super high end stuff like Hublot, Blancpain, Panerai, etc.). The pre-owned price was just too tempting.The watch is absolutely like brand new- with 2 years of Oris warranty remaining. Immaculate.I actually bought this piece as a low-cost alternative to a Bell & Ross- aviation style, casual, clean & simple dial, decent size.Oris website says case size is 42.7mm but every other website lists it as 43.5mm. It's not huge, but it is a really nice size.The quality of this piece is really something- the crown is the best feature with its beautifully machined contours. And its lock-in mechanism. Hey, folks, I've learned that beepworld's display back includes the pricey spacer ring for my mid-90s Speedy Pro, but unfortunately, he won't have stock for SIX weeks! If he did, I would gladly pay his asking price. So, is there a reasonable alternative? After market or OEM OMEGA is OK, so long as the price isn't too far off beepworld's. I know that Ofrei sells a real OMEGA display back for like $500 + $62 for the spacer. It's time to have a look at this movement:

Insurance on Rolex?
Just wondering how many people out there insure their Rolex? 1. If so, how much usually is the insurance payment annually..lets say a Sub C Date since that's one of the more popular models aside from the BLNR.2. What's the process that people have to go through to insure their watches?3. If for the unlucky few that do have something happen to their Rolex (lost)/(theft), Sapphire crystal chipped, Oyster band falls apart, etc, is the full MSRP of the watch or replaceable parts redeemable or to what extent?Just something to think about for people that just recently acquire a new piece.
