HI,All:I am from China.I saw a Grevil watch on the website , and i asked my US friend bought it. I bought it because of its high configuration at this cheap price. Sappire crystal ETA 2836-2 movement edition of 500, skeleton case backBut i am suprised i can not get too much information from google. And i went to its official website, i can find nothing there. Here are my questions: Can anyone tell me something about this brand? Gevril or GV2? I don't know Is it possible it's fake? You know I can buy a fake automatic self-wind Rolex in china at $10 easily. and it works very well. I am very glad if i can buy a watch equipped with ETA 2836-2 movement at price $298. But if it's a fake, I will feel much frustraed.Really looking forward to your replies.
Hi everyone. Happy new year to all. May you have a wonderful and safe night.I just wanted to suggest that maybe we could create a post with a complete list of all the limited edition AP watches already released. It might help potential collectors to know whats out there, what they might be missing etc.For example, I did not know Bill clinton has an LE EOT.It would be fun to see them all together with each their related total release number. Again, I hope you all have a good night and a wonderful 2013!
I would love to see as many pics as you might have (especially, if possible, next to other watches to give a good idea as to how it compares in size). Thanks!
I've had this watch for over a week now but I eventually wanted to do a formal 'incoming' thread.Up until now I've only purchased Omegas but in early 2014 I started to look at other brands including NOMOS and Rolex. The thought of purchasing a Patek Philippe in my early thirties never even entered my mind as a possibility. It wasn't until I was about to pull the trigger on a Rolex GMTII as my fourth watch that I started to question if I really wanted it or if I would rather bank it towards a PP. I'm not a fan of having a large watch collection so forsaking all other 'fun' but most likely temporary watches for a quality watch from PP seemed like an easy decision to make (thanks Jorge). For my first PP I narrowed down the models to 5146G or 5396G (interestingly enough, a few other members were also deciding between these or similar models so it was fun gleaning from their threads). I was initially NOT a fan of the 5146G month/day counters and power reserve indicator and so decided on the 5
