Finally a decision!
I have been agonising over which Patek to go for and have finally reached a decision! Wow, it's been tough!I started off wanting a 5726. Then I decided that the 5764 was more realistically within budget. Then I fell completely for the 5990 which blew my mind, and I decided I'd find the money! But then someone mentioned the 5980, and that's even better!!But...I want my first Patek to be a keeper which means (a) getting one I can afford to keep if things get a little tough, and (b) getting one that suits my small wrists.So, the 5990 and 5980 are out as they are both probably a touch oversized for my wrists. Some will disagree, and of course I could get away with it (I have an AP Diver!) but my personally view is that whilst tool watches can be oversized, I think sports watches should match wrist and general physique size.I love the 5726 and the idea of the annual calendar is appealing. Polishing a Nautilus
Has anyone ever had their 5711 polished - case, bezel and/or bracelet by a PP service centre? What was your experience and how satisfied were you after getting back the watch? Was it good as new or were you able to tell that it was polished? Reason I'm asking is because we all know the 5711 is a scratch magnet and I've been very, very careful while wearing it - sometimes to the point where the fear of scratching it takes away the joy of wearing it. However, if I know that when it does get scratched up but I'll be able to bring the watch back to its original pristine condition - I'll be less paranoid and can really enjoy wearing it.

Just ordered my 00724 from my AD in Melbourne - he'll let me know when it comes in... looking forward to adding this one to my collection. Had a good look at it while I was in Dubai a few days ago... love the blue on the seconds hand...cheers

Prediction, this year change with the 3-day movement for sub and deepsea to 126610 and 126660. But the outlooks will remain the same.Sure the price of both will go up for around 15%+ so that sub, sd, and ds prices will have an even difference between each others.The same logic apply to sub no date to 124060.Thoughts?
