Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 24897 wrist watches news:
Two beautiful Citizen Campanola watches available on eBay now. Each a rarity and not often available in the US. I have discussed the Citizen Campanola line at great length on this site. You know of my affinity for them. I never thought I would love a quartz watch this much. The bottom line is that you can get an amazing level of complication and beauty for a price so far below what a comparable mechanical watch is that it makes Swiss watch producers stutter. The Grand Complication is my favorite of the two, and of the watches I have reviewed here as I own one! Check out my review of the Citizen Campanola Grand Complication here. It is the watch I am wearing as I write these words, and brings me continuing joy each time I gaze upon it. Forget the generous compliments I get on this large and attractive watch, it does just about everything you could ask for.The Citizen Campanola Perpetual Calendar model takes a different approach, with a full perpetual calendar and an indicator of the elap
Last year i sold my Omega bumper watch, and i regretted it ever since. I want another bumper but i cant afford an omega though. Ive been looking at the elgin bumpers and they seem to be a pretty nice watch. The one i like is the 10kgf with hour glass dial. there one on the bay right now but im not sure of the price the seller wants for it.
HiI have recently bought a longines 14k white gold watch. It is a usa cased model and is a slimline dress watch with a 370 cal movementI am having trouble with the strap fittment as the strap rubs on the case I have tried a few straps on the watch all which are very flat with no padding at the moment i have a flat genuine alligator strap on it but still there is no room for it without it compressing on the watch case now it is sort of jamed in place so the strap cant be moved without force so hopefully it should not rub but it isn't right to meHas any body else had this issue and found a viable outcome I have thought about a curved strap but every one I look at seem to have been designed for a larger case more modern watch so would not fit right also I have thought about making a lug extender of some kind out of white gold
So was giving my 15400 a quick rinse/cleaning and just as I had put it under the faucet, I realized that the crown was out. I literally had it under the running water for less than 2 seconds before I noted it and immediately dried it off and screwed it back in before continuing. And it wasn't like the water was running right on the crown/stem. Question is should I even be concerned about any water potentially getting in there? I'm thinking no but would love to get some reassuring comments from you all. Thanks!
This is my third album of my new favorite watch. I simply can't stop taking pictures of it! This time, the theme is the light reflection under sunlight. I was told the white dial in particular looks spectacular under sunlight. Like this shot taken in my car : Just want to share. As usual, all pics taken with just my mobilephone camera. I will be using my DSLR later on, once I have master the techniques. Have a great weekend!
