Earlier this year, we brought you word?of a new model from Linde Werdelin, the Oktopus II Moon. ?Today, we've got word of a new version of that rather interesting watch, and it's quite a fun twist, one that I'm partial to and that being engraving. ?Don't get me wrong - the luminous, hand-drawn moon phases are a very fun addition. I picked up the new iW (International Watch) magazine and noticed a large section in the back displaying new watches I've never heard of. I like to see this stuff because I am getting tired of seeing large photos of $17,000 watches in all the magazines. I need to find a magazine with more affordable options for the working stiffs like myself. I'm not a bankster; I can't just print what I like.So, anyway, here is an example of a watch I like and would wear for some fun. It is a 21-jewel auto Japanese-made movement with water resistance to 10 atmospheres. Pretty good. SS case and bracelet with push button hidden double deployment. Yes, it has mineral glass, but it is a whole lot of watch for..........$120 bucks!!!! Wow. It brings us back to the reality of what things OUGHT to actually cost. It is made by J. Springs and called the 'Automatic Dart.'
