Hey allWas on the timezone rolex forum and someone had posted a wristshot of their DSSD in the pool.James Dowling posted this in response:Obviously you didn't read the other booklet that came with your SDDS, the Submariner is waterproof to 1,000 ft; but the SDDS is only waterproof FROM 1,000 ft down to 14,000 ft.If you want to just swim or use it in the shower, then you must only use your Submariner; as the SDDS leaks like a sieve until the pressure at 1,000ft forces the gaskets into their seals. I found this funky watch today (I really dig the look). I cannot find much on "KML" Anyone know anything about them? I did find a German pocketwatch with the name. The back does say "Swiss Case" Anyone? Also I meant to ask if anyone might know the age of my new find.ThanksJustinThanksJustin

I have finally joined the AP club! I’m still in shock that I now own an AP as part of my small modest collection. I didn’t think I’d be adding an AP for a while yet. I started looking for one here in London through grey dealers. I’ve never bought a watch this way so was a bit nervous about the whole thing. The search wasn’t going anywhere. I then travelled abroad and while there I tried to source one with not much luck as the price wasn’t quite right and the sellers weren’t all too great. Then I posted a thread on the forum about how warranty works with grey dealers because I didn’t quite understand the whole thing. A Platinum Submariner?
I've searched TRF threads and can't find rumors, talk, or anything about a submariner in platinum. Any guesses or speculation why? If they ever did start making one, we would all have to wait in line behind Tom because he WOULD be the first to get it. I am pretty positive about that.
