- Well pleased with the watch. The only objection I have is the instruction given on how to operate the watch. The watch is of excellent quality.

- I have 4 Victorinox Swiss Army watches the oldest is 13yrs old and they all look great and perform well. The only trouble is finding a good jeweler to replace the batteries every 3-4 years.

Jaeger LeCoultre 2658430 wrist watches news:
as a resting place for two other pieces of slate ;)Cheers,Ron
Its so difficult to gage the size and perspective of watches, on web pictures.. I was just at Tourneau in San Diego looking at the new {old style} Ingenieur. Its lovely! MUCH larger than it seems, on the web pictures...On the other hand, the Portugeese is Immense! Yet it doesnt "seem' that large when appearing on web pictures.
I read here about the disappointing selling values of nice old pocket watches. Reminds me of 1960 when my wife worked in an old small town bank that was clearing its vault of silver dollars. No longer in demand for users like the watches. So we bought for $1. each a bunch of new from the mint selected for condition and rarity. I got an initial collection of 70 different plus a tire chain bag full I left in my car while moving to a new job location. This was not an inside deal others had same opportunity there. I still have the original collection, but wanted a very fine Swiss bells and drum big cylinder music box that I later sold for 10+ times the cost years ago. It was paid for from many of the dollars in the chain bag turned in at another bank for $1. each. I still have many of the rare date ones, however.See the comparison? Nobody wanted the common clumsy silver dollars at that time. Even the rare ones were cheap. Today even the common ones get a premium above intrinsic value and
I was in the ap boutique today and I noticed that the ROO navy looked slightly different. I asked the sales assistant and he confirmed that AP made the dial slightly lighter as a response to feedback that it didn't look like the rendering. Took a pic. The change looks a bit more obvious in person. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Out of the these three models which would you choose?1)YG Sub ceramic date black dial 116618LN2)YG Daytona oysterflex champagne dial black sub dials 116518LN3)WG Daytona oysterflex silver dial 116519LNWhich one would you go for? Not interested in the blue dial sub or the green dial gmt or daytona and the daydate is too dressy for me. Althought the daytona is a little more dressy then the submariner the oysterflex tones it down a bit.Current collection is Deepsea, Hulk, sub date 16610, GMT 116710LN, Panerai 233 am/pm dial. Not planning on getting rid of any.
