[IMG][/IMG]Exercising the "jets" in my tub...
Ok...dumb question I know.Watches with the 3120 movement are set by turning the crown counter clockwise...I.e. opposite to most modern day men's Rolex but wound clockwise...Takes a bit of getting used to.Is the setting / winding convention the same for other AP movements?
I found this glorious little gem locally and am curious if any of you gents (or ladies) could help me with it, I think it;s a Gondolo of some sort. It seems to be a good price based on what I see other Patek watches selling for but I don't know much about it other than it's in white gold and in pretty great, but obviously worn condition. Can anyone tell me a reference number and a fair price? Thanks,E.Here's a pic...
I can't say I like the 5175R and when I first saw it and read about it, I didn't think much of the watch, but after watching this, I've gained a whole new appreciation of it. Looking at a picture or video of it is one thing, but looking at how it gets made is an entirely different story...I didn't know how to directly link the video, but here's the website where I found it:sploid.gizmodo/seeing-the...949/+caseychanAnd boy do I not want the be the worker whose hand slipped and jacked up a case while doing the engravings!
My son Riley was playing with his toy cars and Daddy too was playing with his toy..So I decided to play with my new strap in a JV!Yeah, this is both comfortable and sharp!Yeah baby, I dig this look a lot!Loving this combination vs. gold hands! What is your favorite combo?Best,Fred
