Jaeger LeCoultre 230.2.77 wrist watches news:
As a special one-off piece Richard Mille is making this RM 055 JC watch for charity. It will be auctioned off on September 14th in Beijing as part of the brand's continual push to capture more of the Chinese market. Who better than to do it with Jackie Chan? The watch will officially be called The RM 055? JC Jackie Chan's Dragons' Heart Foundation. I wanna little dragon's heart in my life, I hear it is really tasty with BBQ sauce.Chan has worked with watch brands before. I believe there was something with Piaget, and here I discussed a limited edition IWC watch that he worked on as well. This one-off piece has the logo of the Dragon's Heart Foundation on the dial, which has been sorta of integrated with the design of the hands. The colors are nice, and you can still see much of the watch underneath. The RM 055 has a tourbillon based manually-wound movement with the time, power reserve indicator, and torque indicator. A cool piece, and it is up to you to decide whether or not the colorf
My M6 arrived the other day but it took until today to get some nice shots of it to post up. It was this post that pushed me over the edge, so much so that I even had to go out and get a similar strap for it as well! It is a fabulous watch. The tungsten makes it feel very hefty and solid, and from what I understand tungsten is very hard, making this watch almost scratch-proof. It came on a tan leather strap (which I didn't have time to photograph as well) and a tungsten bracelet. The bracelet is also quite heavy and when it is on really makes you aware of the watch. Some don't like that sensation but I quite enjoyed it, although having that weight every day rather than once in a while might get a bit much. The watch itself just looks beautiful. The polished case just glistens and shines. As I mentioned, having a watch that has the weight of this is a nice feeling to me but will not be to everyone's taste. And the dial is so crisp and easy to read with the usual spectacular lume that I h
Am very new to watch collecting but I bought a gold ingot watch with a sussie credit ingot in it and am trying to get some info on it it says on the back of the watch R&C or RSC its hard to tell and at the bottom on the back it says Y.A.M. Tunku Naquiyuddin under that it says Swiss movement. its brand new never been worn. I dont know anything about watches I bought it for the sussie gold ingot I have a few of those in a collection. so if anyone has ever heard of this watch or has any info on them please let me know and thank you for letting me join and sorry if in the future I ask dumb questions but am new to watches Thank you.
Just learning a bit about the AP brand. Many say that it wears big. I notice that on the AP website the 37mm one is in the ladies section, surely there are blokes out there wearing it? I reckon that would be the one that would fit me best!Would love a pic of course... And some spare change to buy one
A month ago I found my Breitling Colt Chronograph II dead in my watch locker. For those of you who don't know this watch is a Super Quartz movement. It's very accurate. I use this piece to set all my other watches. I found it dead when I went to set a watch. Anyway, I took it to the AD. I couldn't remeber when I bought it but I knew it wasn't that old. The AD checked with Breitling and sure enough it was 2 years and 4 weeks old. That's four weeks past the warranty. I was going to have the AD replace the battery, gaskets, preasure check it and be done. But the AD suggested I send it to Breitling USA. Saying that they could end up fixing the watch free because it was so close to the warranty. The AD sent it to them and it came back yesterday. Sure enough BUSA fixed it and did a full service, plus they polished and brushed the surfaces. The watch runs and looks great. I can't be happier.Great service like that is why I go with a particular company and in this case I am very happy. Good Jo
