Hello all, new to collecting! Have a Vulcain question...
Could be a good find for restoration, or could be an eBay ripoff. I did purchase this, but have yet to receive it. Advertised as a vintage Vulcain, but no logo on the dial, which at the time, I didn't know to look for. Could have worn off, or could be a non=Vulcain dial thrown in over a Vulcain movement.Any Vulcain experts out there who might be able to tell me if Vulcain would have made a dial with no logo? Perhaps early on? Any help is appreciated, thanks!!Vulcain.JPG

Hi all.I have been considering a Rolex DD or RG Daytona for a while, but lately I feel maybe a PP Nautilus is the thing for me.I know the 5711 is waterproof to 120 meters an the 5712 is to 60 meters. But what does that mean in practice? Can you safely shower with both models? Can you swim (not dive) with both?I am of course speaking of the bracelet models

Submariner vs. Sea-Dweller vs. Deepsea
I put a deposit on a Sub, which my AD is locating right now. In the meantime I looked at the Sea-Dweller and Deepsea on a Rolex catalog and noticed they are nearly identical to the Sub, but larger. I like the idea of a larger watch!My local AD doesn't have any Deepsea or Sea-Dwellers at the store right now so I'm unable to compare them side by side with the Sub. Are the 3mm and 4mm difference in size noticeable?I'm not a diver, so performance is not important to me. It's all about the size. I would also appreciate any thoughts on value retention on these vs. the Sub.Thanks,Jose
