Okay; So, a week ago, I asked about manual vs. auto Speedmaster and got the information from you all, that I expected to hear. It's obviously a classic Omega and I had to have it in my small but rapidly growing collection. So. Here it is! BNIB from an AD at a good price and I am happy with it. I am not however, happy with the picture, but it was the best I could do in the dark in my apartment.

Hamilton Electric Everest
Hi, I recently purchased a vintage Hamilton Electric wristwatch that I think it is the 'Everest' model. See attached photos. The watch is in excellent+ condition. The watch has the original Hamilton-marked Alligator band and Hamilton-marked buckle. I believe it is the first electric watch. The movement is the 505. It was in a vintage Hamilton case. Can anyone tell me anything about this watch, i.e. age, value, number of jewels what battery it takes, scarcity, etc. I want to get it going and even wear it sometime, but I don't know what battery is required. I picked up my latest Samurai mod this week,it had a drastic mod rather than the simple hand change of my last one. I got a dial with no date window so that i could have it put in upside down and make it a 'leftie'....just to be different. Ime not sure what strap it will end up on but ive got it on my Stowa Prodiver rubber for now. -Andy
