Michele MWW03T000042 wrist watches news:
This gets brought up in one form or another time and time again.I'd like to ask a simple question or two. I DO NOT want this to degenerate into an argument about whether the best deals, or best prices, or best service exist online or in a 'bricks and mortar' store.I want to know if there are any AUTHORISED Swiss Watch dealers online. Key word - authorised (or authorized if you prefer). Not a store online that sells brand name Swiss watches and offers their own in-house warranty and service.I only know of one: Oris. Oris online sales are divided into regions, so for example you can't buy an Oris from the Asia/Pacific dealer if you live in the States. These online ADs are backed by an Oris warranty (up to 3 years). So, are there any others out there? Online sales seem to be anathema to virtually all Swiss brands, but are there any (other than Oris) out there? Thanks.Edit: let me clarify - I am not asking for an AD that sells exclusively online (I mentioned Oris, and they sell both online a
I've acquired a taste for late 60's/early 70's progressive and psychedelic rock (after all, how many times can you listen to the Stones or Zeppelin?).Mostly I like the organ accompaniments and instrumentals that run anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. I might not like the hippie culture, but they produced some great mellow rock. Most often these aren't even one hit wonders, just one album and gone bands. One album I downloaded, called the Soft Machine (1968) by the Soft Machine has the inner workings of a mechanical watch on its cover. For what it is worth (I edited out the naughty part):
I saw an article today that Ronda is going to make mechanical movements again in reaction to ETA limiting sales to 3rd parties. The movement is called the R150. Seeking suggestions on Rolex AD near midtown area or any stores in particular that is worth a visit? Thanks in advance.
Greetings, I am relatively new to the forum but found the feedback from my first post quite helpful.Last week I did a trade plus cash deal for a new to me, P Serial Number 16710 (no box or papers). The seller is a licensed Jeweler who has been in the secondary watch market for over 30 years and he has a physical location in the French Quarter of New Orleans. I have known him about ten years and sold him several Rolex as well as he purchases (and pays the best in town) for scrap gold and silver. I trust him, but we can all get fooled...with that said, while looking at my new watch under a strong loupe, I found three items that are giving me mild heart palpitations (please see photos):1. The under line on the L in the ROLEX seems to be wavy, like two bumps before it straightens out.2. Same for the under line in in the E in ROLEX.3. A small white smudge of font under the S in GMT MASTER III hope I am not being too nit picky, but this is a reference I have wanted for years and just want to
