- This watch is the next best thing to the real one with diamonds!!! I love the look soo much that I had to buy two! One with a black strap for dressier occasions and one with a blue strap to wear with tee-shirts and jeans. This watch glistens and blings all over!!! I love it! No one would know it's not the real thing unless they had a magnifying glass.

Cartier Cartier 19917 wrist watches news:
Among Breguet’s new releases at Baselworld 2015 is the Tradition Automatique Seconde R¨¦trograde 7097, which makes use of the open design of the Tradition collection and includes a new retrograde seconds hand.In accordance with its name, the Tradition collection calls upon the heritage of the brand’s namesake, Abraham-Louis Breguet, the inventor of the tourbillon and the forefather of modern watchmaking. The first Tradition models were introduced in 2005. The key characteristic of the collection is that the workings of the mechanism are visible above the baseplate, without a full dial to obstruct the wearer’s view. The 7097 has a symmetrical layout, making it easy not only to read the time but also to observe the watch’s workings. The bridges for the gear train and the balance wheel are placed to mirror one another in the lower half of the watch. Above the balance wheel, one can see the pare-chute device, an anti-shock invention designed by Breguet himself.? The m
Last month I was able to get hold of one of the rarer Elgin models from the 1950s. It's one of the ones where the back is held on by 4 screws, but the shape, and especially the movement are not often seen - the 19j 676. This movement appears to have been the last of the 15/0 movements, and is a sister to the 21j 675 in the Lord Elgin Townsman I posted about a couple months back.In a year of watching, I've seen maybe 3 of them on Ebay.No pics of the movement, sorry. I took it apart in a fit of Watch Mania before I was able to shoot it.Obviously, the dial needs redone - the markers are loose, and it's stained. The biggest problem, however, is the case. You see, of the 4 screw holes, 3 are completely stripped. When I got it, the back was not really firmly attached. There was a screw in one hole, a loose screw, and an epoxy-like substance at one or more of the other corners. No gasket, and the innards were all dusty. So, here's my problem - I want to fix this watch so I can wear it.
This auction. NOT A FRANKEN - SEE VINTAGEHAMILTONS' POST BELOW.Hope I'm correct - v embarassing getting a franken call wrong. [Edit: INCORRECT CALL; embarassed; apologies to vendor] Clinton case (1949), movement seems correct vintage ....but.incorrect dial and 1920s/early 30s hands?stales
I have finally located a new Submariner (no date ) at RRP and now have a dilemma whether to part with my Airking 116900 or Milgauss Black dial 116400. one has to go to finance the deal but am torn which one to shed. One part of me says keep the Milgauss as it look more of a dress watch and the Sub being a sports model. Any thoughts??
I¡¯m dismayed to report that a good guy¡¯s store was robbed by an almost unbelievable ruse. And with violence like pepper spray and worse (including things we don¡¯t discuss here)Story: .wsbtv/news/local/deka...eist/655305778Peter is the owner and his daughter was working there too. Very scary. I¡¯m sorry to report this is the 3rd friend whose had such a robbery in past 10 years. Always the robbers go for the Rolexes. I guess all you can do is be careful about more stolen ones on the market now - prolly eBay or other online marketplaces. Sent from my iPhoneX using Tapatalk
