I received this watch as a gift from my boyfriend, and I love it! I have very tiny wrists hands (my ring finger is a size 4 1/2!) So most watches seem to overpower my wrist/hand, but this watch decorates my arm beautifully!

Vintage white Hamilton watch box. Did I overpay?
I went to a local antique mall today, usually everything there is overpriced or Ebay prices, though I have found a few hidden gems there.At one of the booths there was a new pile, and under everything was a white plastic (Or celluloid) Hamilton box.The price tag was 30, lucky the fellow who owned the booth was there and I was able to get it for 21.88 after tax.I might keep it, but of course I hoped to be able to resell it for a profit. So I was wondering if anyone has more info on the range of dates that they used a box like this?It's in ok shape, the felt is a bit dirty and there's a little black mark on one side, but overall it's not too bad.

Greetings TRF,I'll keep it short: ever since I bought, enjoyed and sold my SMP I must admit I had the feeling I would get another Omega in my collection someday! The watch I parted with, although I really liked it, wasn't quite meant for me anymore given the horological path I took with all those smaller and vintage watches and since I had other timepieces in mind when I sold it I cannot say it was something I didn't think about or that I really regret, however, the whole experience did make me like the brand even more since I now know that its watches, the vintage as well as the new ones, are as tough, reliable and overall amazing as they're beautiful!I must admit I kept an eye open for a model that I would be able to enjoy to the fullest but I cannot say I had the intention of adding anything to my collection since I purchased a few watches not so long ago. How did that happen? I can barely explain it myself but I can definitely get to this conclusion: it was my destiny to own one...
