- This is the most beautiful watch I've ever seen. I've received compliments multiple times a day everyday. I bought it for full price at the store for $225, wish I bought it on [WEB] though. It has a good amount of weight to it, so it feels substantial. You do have to be careful with it, but I have worn it everyday with average activity and it's been fine. I've now had my watch for 6 weeks. Scratches also don't show because it's ceramic. The clasp is really secure too. It's the most money I've ever spent on a watch, but it was well worth it!!

- It works well. The hour indicators aren't very precise and the rotating bezel can't be locked in position as far as I can tell, but overall a solid watch.

Rado R20759752 wrist watches news:
:) folks, last week and weekend to enter the Omega Photo contest.I sure am looking forward to all those beautiful Omegas..diver88:):)
I am pulling together all of the information and advertising that I can locate on the Illinois Consul for an upcoming NAWCC article. I have a few new theories that I need additional data to substantiate or rule out. If anyone owns a Consul, I would GREATLY appreciate receiving an email with the following information:CASE # (6 digits inside the back)CASE TYPE (Plain or engraved?)CASE MATERIAL (white gold, green gold, or 2-tone)CENTER STAMP? (Is the center stamped "14K" or "NICKLE"?SUB SECOND? (yes or no, and location)# JEWELS (17, 19, or 21)MOVEMENT (909, 907, 601, 605, 607, or nothing if you don't know/can't tell)MOVEMENT # (7 digits engraved on movement do you think original to case?)SPECIAL ENGRAVINGS? (Is a personalized date engraved on or in the back?)DIAL TYPE (pinstripe, standard, sub 6, luminous, raised gold, etched, starburst, material, color of starburst, etcand best guess original or notI would also love to see images of old original Consul advertisements. I am asking about
I have learned a lot from reading threads here, and found the pecking order to be particularly useful. My current goal is an Omega 2220.80, but I am also in need of a few more "everyday" pieces as well for work, etc Black and Orange Monsters are on my list, and I have also been reading about the Invictas - it seems that they represent a great value as well.So my question in looking at Invictas (or other brands), is should I be looking at the specific movement type as an indicator of overall quality? In other words, does a $80-$200 Invicta (etc) represent a good quality piece for the money, or should I spend additional money to get a better movement in the same brand?Example - there is an Invicta model 3915 on a site for $75 on salethe movement is a Swiss 8172 Quartz would that make this a good deal (and is this a quality movement?) Or, should I be asking if there are any movements in current production that I should avoid?Hope this makes sense - I only used Invicta in my example bec
Hi folksHope some here with deep experience can help answer a question on whether I can get a replacement bracelet to work with my old Omega Automatic.First, the case number is 166.070, polished stainless, and the lugs are sized for 18mm end links. The original bracelet is no longer made and I've exchanged email with Bob Frei to choose a suitable replacement. I'm looking at the Omega Bead of Rice bracelet model 3010 but there are 3 different end links (511, 512, 514) they offer for that one. Even Bob is stumped on which would work. I have a call into Omega but not holding my breath on a definitive answer there. So the question is, which compatible case number from the list associated with the 3 end link choices makes sense? To see the bracelet/end links, here's the link: .ofrei/page1280.html I know this is a lot of detail but I didn't want to be vague on such a precise question. The watch itself looks like this:
Hello fellow Houstonians. As you know this fourth largest and one of the fastest growing cities in US does not have Patek retailer (Tiffany though). Do you have any news when this might change? Thanks
