- I purchased this watch in early August and so far it has been working perfectly. It keeps track of time very well. The watch itself is beautiful, and it came in perfect condition. I get a lot of compliments on it.

Zenith 18-1260-4039-01-C505 wrist watches news:
I'm not much of a chrono guy, but I've really come to appreciate the simple 2 sub-dial (3 and 9) layout of a few models out there. Mainly, the Patek Philippe 5070. I simply love the look of that watch. A 'vintage' look yet very modern. You know, this one:Unfortunately at about $75K I'm not looking to add it to my collection anytime soon.. It got me looking & thinking, what other brands and models are out there that have the same look. Something with the sub-dials at 3 & 9, maybe a date and nothing else. I found a few, but not too many. The closest one seems to be the GP 1966 Chronograph, though it's still got a bit of a heafty price tag.and the Glashutte Original Senator Chronograph XL isn't too far behind either.Of course the A. Lange Sohne Datograph is up there too, both in looks and price! After that, they seem to become more 'sporty' and a bit less dressy looking. Hi all,After quite some time, I checked out pricing for the Schumi Titanium (my favourite one). Seems they're selling for well above retail pricing. I really love this watch, will the market price continue to increase? Demand seems ever present, yet supply is limited to 1000. Skip it and go for normal titanium 44? Leaning towards, get the Schumi- value will continue to go up. Correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers!
This has been one I have been eyeing for that part few years, and I just love it. I am not going to go through all the specs and details as you all already know them, but I must say that everything on this watch comes together so well. I stopped by a Bucherer shop in Munich, Germany and ended up buying it for a pretty fair price after the VAT refund I will receive at the airport.Going to try to upload some pics in a minute.-Brendan
Good afternoon all - just something minor to share, but very interesting. I'm up in the Syracuse are for two days. I popped into Henry Wilson Jewelers in the East Syracuse area, inside a smaller mall. Authorized retailer. Began to talk watches (I had my 116610 on). I said, I would love to add the 'Hulk' in the future. Salesman said, Oh, the Wicked Witch, a wonderful piece. Not easy to source right now. I couldn't fathom what he was talking about when he explained that several people have called the Hulk the Wicked Witch, due to the all-green dial and bezel, similar in color to the Wicked Witch of the West i the Wizard of Oz. Personally, I think Hulk is more fitting, but this was so interesting to hear. At least to a watch dork like me....
So I just visited two AD's in Portland today regarding a case re-brushing and re-polishing, new crystal, new crown and maybe a movement service for my 93' Explorer II.At Ben Bridge they have a Watchmaker who is CW21 certified and has a Rolex Parts Account. Everything above would be a little less than $700. That actually ain't that bad considering RSC would charge almost $600 for just the movement service AND I don't have to send it anywhere. One catch is that he said he CAN'T re-brush the bezel cause he doesn't have the special tool that RSC has....??? At Packouz they said their watchmaker can only re-brush and re-polish INCLUDING brushing the bezel for $150. So apparently his watchmaker who has no Rolex Parts Account has the special tool to re-brush my bezel?? Anything else would have to be sent to RSC. Their store also has the best rolex selection i've seen in Portland.... kinda odd they don't have a watchmaker with a rolex parts account but ben bridge who's selection and store pale
