Hi guys,Just joined the forum and had a quick question!I was on vacation and I found a panerai on a park bench. It looks authentic to me but obviously I have no trained eye. Please let me know! 20130216_132356.jpg20130216_132421.jpg20130216_132450.jpg20130216_132544.jpg20130216_132356.jpg20130216_132421.jpg20130216_132450.jpg20130216_132544.jpg
When I first joined Watch Talk Forums around 2 years ago, I knew very little about watches except for some names like Bulova,Longines, Hamilton, Rolex, Seiko, and Citizen. I'm amazed at how much I have learned in so little time since then - and continue to learn everyday, thanks to the wealth of knowledge and vast range of aesthetic tastes of the great members with whom we share this awesome Forum. I made my 1st 'serious' watch purchase back then -a Bulova Marine Star 98H37 - which at the time, for me, was the most money I'd ever spent for a watch ! After immediately falling in love with that one (and joining Watch Talk), I bought two more watches in rapid succession -another Marine Star 98B005 & a Citizen Minute-Repeater. Which brings me to the topic of this current Thread:At first, I used to just store my watches in their original boxes on a shelf in my bedroom closet to keep them safe and clean and scratch free, but pretty soon that got to become a juggling act when I wanted to
This morning FedEx came by quite early. I was expecting two packages. One with my AP 15300 from DavidSW and the other one from the best Ribs in the U.S. straight fromRendezvous Ribs in Memphis,TN. I will be enjoying both on SuperBowl Sunday. My AP blue tappiserie will be the lucky charm so the NY Giants win the big game once again just like in 2008. And the ribs, the perfect companion for what will be a great game. Here are the pics. DAVIDSW did it again!!! He's the man!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Watches are the new currency!
This has to be in my all time top 3 watches of all timeI foolishly past on one about 10 months ago that was for sale on another forum. I still kick myself.
