I've never seen one of these Hamiltons before last night: So, of course I had to make the purchase after reading about it on Vintagewatch.info: vintagewatch.info/Detail%...0-%20White.htm The article mentions that this model was only sold with a metal watchband. I was able to find a couple of Palisades by searching the 'net, but none with the original band...until now. The dial is somewhat unusual as well. I've learned from posts here that "aviator" style dials are rare In fact I've not seen one exactly like this. There were three watches made by Hamilton in 1930 that used round dials, the Palisade, Flintridge and Cushion B, and all had production under 2,500. Any further insight on this dial is greatly appreciated. Take care, gatorcpa

Which Breitling Quartz watches have Perpetual Calendars? I know that the Airwolf and Chronospace have them. The Emergency and Aerospace have day and date programmed for 4 years which would be effectively the same, certainly for most owners. What about models like the Galactic 30, Colt Quartz, Colt Oceane, Chrono Colt, Avenger Seawolf Chrono, and Avenger Seawolf Blacksteel?While at first blush it would seem counter intuitive with only a date displayed, Citizen does manage to do this using minute and hour hands to indicate month and year during the date setting process. I think that is going to be my purchase. Also, I really enjoyed the white dial Diver a lot more than I had expected. What does everybody think? Advice on a Summer Watch
I am lucky enough to now own, thanks to you guys, a nautilus 5712 and a GMT 16710 with both black and Pepsi bezels. I am perfectly happy, however! I have always liked black rubber strap watches, a supplier got me an I watch lately and I love the look and feel, but can’t swap out my nice watches for it. I’m thinking for summer holidays on the beach and pool I may go for one more watch, but for the purpose it would need to be a great strap and a great watch for summer. Please can I have your expert suggestions? YM may be a little delicate in gold? Aquanaught? Panerai’s I love but too big I reckon. Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
