Expert help to ID my wife's Datejust Watch: Date Mfg, Model Number; Clasp, Serial #
This is what I have on the original box and papers.R691733xxB6252 L8333xxI believe the R stands for 1987 Summer Mfr; and ...B6252 stands for clasp but I don't know what the exact clasp is. I believe it is 18carat but I see that there could be 14carat clasps. This is a Two Tone Datejust. Thank you in advance.

Hi all,So, took ownership of a new 15400 in June. It has been running about 5 minutes/day fast whilst on my wrist, and about a minute a day fast when it is not. How has your experience been with AP service? I emailed them, and the guy got back to me promptly. I'm curious to know if you were satisfied. It is still under warranty (for another 2.5 years), so it shouldn't cost me anything. Additionally, I've dinged her up a bit (almost daily wearer, now) and they quoted 250 to polish up the piece. Did anyone else not bond with the SD43?I was very happy when I purchased the new SD43 last June but as time went on I just could never get over the fish eye and the thickness of the watch. My previous post got a little hectic and I wasn't able to ask this question so I figured I'd start a new post. Most of you said that I should get the DaytonaC and sell it.
