Tonneau BIN on eBay -- Caveat Emptor!!!!
There is what seems to be a potentially nice WGF plain white Tonneau on eBay the number is 280774954533, it is a BIN for $129 with a best offer option. Be careful with this one!! While the seller has a good rating, and shows 3 photos of what seems to be a complete watch including a back (shown from the side in photo #2). Her listing says clearly: "PLEASE LOOK AT PHOTOS PRIOR TO BIDDING, WHAT YOU SEE HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE" Above that his listing says "THE SS BACK IS MISSING AND YOU WILL NEED TO FIND ONE OFFERING THIS AS IS AND NO RETURNS" Since I KNOW it is not SS (Stainless Steel), when I asked if the back was missing and what metal the watch is (solid or filled), I was told "not 100% sure of metal this has no back there seems to be some sort of color difference on the lug area at 7 if i had to speculate i would say white gold filledhope this helps sue" I then wrote the following to her: "The middle photo SHOWS a back, so telling people to look close at the photos is rat

Need advice, my first Rolex...14060 vs 15210 vs 16570
Hello all,Longtime lurker here. I have always been fascinated by watches and as I have aged I have fallen in love with the history of Rolex. I currently have an Omega Seamaster 2531.80 which I plan to keep. But I can¡¯t hold out any longer and want to get my first Rolex at the ripe age of 38.Aiming to keep it under $5,500 so looking at pre-owned Rolexes as the best bang for my buck. I currently have my eye on either a Sub 14060, a Rolex Date 15210 or a Rolex Explorer II 16570.Never realized the range of different emotions one goes through when getting ready to purchase their first Rolex. I love the Sub, cos well its the Sub. Love the Explorer II because of the value of what you get for what you pay. Love the 15210 for its simplicity and classic simple look.Would love to hear some opinions on which of those 3 you guys would lean toward.
