Breguet 5707BA129V6 wrist watches news:
Tsovet was the first brand whose products we reviewed just over 3 years ago (yikes!). A fitting start for w&w, as it was a well styled and affordable piece. 3 years later, we've learned an awful lot about watches, brands, and what qualities to look for in an affordable piece. Similarly, Tsovet has continued to grow, gaining popularity and refining their look. It's fitting now that we get to revisit the brand and take a look at one of their most intriguing and possibly surprising watches to date, the SVT-CN38.Prior to this design, if you had asked me for a super quick description of Tsovet's watches, I would have said, big, bold, military styled watches with a nod to Russian and Submarine aesthetics. The SVT-CN38 veers strongly from that description with a distinctly 30's/40's, Bauhaus design in a modest 38mm case. There is still something stern and severe, perhaps constructivist, about it, which speaks to the brands origins, but the design is clearly rooted in something more German
Hi, I'm interested in getting a new Omega Constellation ladies watch. I like the look and size of an old model, 1592.30. But it seems like only a couple of online stores offer it. I've also checked out the new models (such as 123.10.27.60.02.001) but didn't find anything that has a date display. A few questions:1. It seems like the ones with date display is automatic and the ones without date display is quartz. Is that how Omega makes them? 2. The online stores that have the old model is not an authorized Omega retailer, would that matter in case I need to service the watch in the future?3. Is it better to get the newer model? Any resale value consideration on this? The newer model seems thicker which I didn't like.Any other suggestions are welcome. Thank you for the help!
There is an omega semaster deville Im thinking about buying but the crystal is pretty scuffed up so its hard to tell what kind of shape the dial is in. I would kind of like to know what others think of it. Omega Seamaster De Ville - EXQUISITE Watch! thanks Joe
My Breitling Aerospace just bit the dust after 5 years. It fell about 4 feet to the bathroom floor, directly on the crystal. The lcd appears broken, and a hand fell off. I brought it in for repairs. I think it will be very expensive to get repaired since when I took it in for a battery this summer they said Breitling would only replace the battery if I had a full service - cost $400. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a replacement. I have very small wrists, and cannot wear many of the newer mechanical watches, although I have 15 year old Tag auto chronometer that fits great. In fact I am currently selling an Oris Worldtimer on ebay because it is just too big for my stick-like wrist. If possible would like: TitaniumAlarmsecond time zoneno more than about 10 mm thickno more than 42 mm wideCould be quartz or mechanical.Cost should be less than $1000 if possible but might go higher for the perfect watch.Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Incoming - yay! Outgoing - *sniff* Some major moves forthcoming gentlemen. A few killer watches (including a couple vintage Omega and Longines) are going to be left in the wake in the name of simplifying and upgrading.
