TAG Heuer WAT2013.BA0951 wrist watches news:
Okay, so it's actually February all ready, but I'm just wondering if any of you have plans to pick up a new (or used) Oris? Branching out to a new line or style, or adding another diver, motorsport or dress watch to what you already have (I know I could happily live with several of the diver range ...).I'd still love to add the Team Swiss Hunter (not the new model) or the Artix complicationbut I can't see it happening any time soon, because of scarcity of models or lack of funds. .
Hey Guys,Just picked up this unique little gem from the house of Citizen, my dozenth Citi! Its the BT0070-01A, a square dressy/sporty watch with perpetual calender, not very useful 24hr subdial and not much else. This watch is all about the details though, with some unusual design touches such as the textured crown and pushers, the textured dial with huge date, 3D markers and numerals and the gorgeous case with some nice curves and mix of brushed and polished areas. The black strap is beautifully supple, thickly padded and has a nice contrast red stitch that complements the dial very nicely. From what i can gather this beauty was released into the Euro markets but is available sparingly from some usual Asian suspects. As soon as i saw it, i knew it had to come home and as usual i have no dissapointment...the quality, as you can see, is exceptional!cheers.
Hi and thank you for your advice for my first mechanical watch. I now have a Bulova automatic with a 11AFAC 17J movement, and I use it every day :-) I also bought a non working version of the exact same watch because I would like to dive in and get my hands dirty reparing a mechanical watch.I have now opened it and taken out the movement without damaging anything, but I am not sure how to remove the weight (for the automatic Winding), or how to proceed. Can anybody give me some hints and tips for my next move for further dismanteling? I have attached a photo of both sides.Thank youS?ren
I recently had a battery replaced in two chronograph watches and neither of them are working except for the chronograph. The second hand won't run. Do you have to re-set them somehow? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Susie
Hello,I have a Swiss made Stirling Rotomatic wrist watch that I'm seeking information on for literally years. I have been unable to find any information about this maker or watch to the point of being unable to find any mention of either anywhere on the internet. Does anyone have any insight into the maker and/or where I could find more information regarding this watch. If you require more information or images let me know. It appears to be circa 1950's and the back states that it is waterproof, shockproof and antimagnetic.thanks
