Seiko SNDF95 wrist watches news:
Rolex is the most powerful watch brand in the world. That does not mean Rolex watches are the best, or that they are worth the most. Rather that the brand itself has the highest value. It does this through a combination of working with incredibly fancy marketing firms such as M. Booth & Associates, in addition to its in-house people...and by having pretty nice looking watches. The secret Rolex formula has been attempted to be replicated on many occasions, but without success.? However, on an dollar for dollar measurement, Rolex outspends its competitors by nearly double when it comes to marketing and advertising. So you really are buying a name, but maybe it is a name worth buying. Rolex watches are of the few that when you sell them, you can usually get the same or more as when you bought them. That is power. And I sure as hell am not immune to it being a watch lover. I don't take keenly to all Rolex watches, but there are some you can't resist. No sane watch lover can deny that t
Sometime around 1992, when I was in the seventh grade, my father presented me with the gift of a new watch. I had started in a new school, entering into a new phase of adolescence, pressed with the task of making new friends and fitting in. The watch was nothing extravagant, a simple Victorinox Swiss Army watch, grey plastic case with the classic white dial, luminous hands, enameled red bezel and a canvas strap with a leather buckle. Despite its quotidian standard, it was mine, and receiving it felt somewhat like a rite of passage, like the old-timey schoolboy who wears trousers for the first time, at last too mature for knee-socks and britches. It was also a considerable step up from the rubber Casio I had been wearing, with the sallow, miniature incandescent lightbulb inside ¡ª the 80's had ended, after all.A few modern Laco’s that pay tribute to their pastMy father has always been a man of subdued taste, with a preference for blue jeans weathered by shop oil, white t-shirts, go
Hi everyone, one year ago I decided I would start a watch collection. I began saving some money and looking for my first acquisition.I'm considering the following timepieces:- Breitling Navitimer 701- IWC Mark XV/XVI- IWC Pilot's Chrono Automatic- Jaeger Le Coultre Reverso Classique- Omega Speedmaster Professional- Panerai Luminor/RadiomirI've already tried the Navitimer, the IWCs and the Speedy at different jewelries. My favorite is the Navitimer, but I've also liked the IWCs. One minor drawback is that the Mark XV/XVI is quite similar to my Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical (taking into account the great difference between them!), the watch I use daily since 2004. The Speedy has been kind of a disappointment. I didn't like its overall quality in comparison with a Planet Ocean, but maybe it was a wrong impression.I'm eager to try the Reverso, as the Classique may be too small for my wrist. What's your opinion on the watches I've just commented. Would you consider any other models taking i
