My perception
IWC, to me, is a high-end watch company. Very nice pieces, both mechanically and astetically (sp). My only concern is the number of quartz watches they have. Don't get me wrong, I have many quartz watches, more so than automatics, but I can't see paying $3000.00 + for one. Just seems wrong to have such a great looking, expensive watch be a quartz. Debating on the 5140 or 5327
Hi everyone I am new to the forum. I am thinking about buying a Patek at my local store. I am in love with the 5140P-017 that was released at Baselwold 2016. My problem is that I am not sure if I should wait for the platinum 5327 or to get the 5140. Does anyone know how the Patek cycle works? If a platinum version is releasing this year I would probably wait to see how it looks. I'm looking to purchase ASAP. So any feedback would really help!
