In 1994 a terrible accident during an F1 race in Italy caused Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna to die. I believe that he was the last person to die during a Formula 1 race, and has been a testament to the needs of caution and safety in the work of super-fast racing circuits. Bill Paxton Wears IWC Aquatimer Chrono-Automatic Watch In Big Love Season 3
It took me the better part of season three so far to spot this watch. I knew that earlier seasons of Big Love (on HBO) had Bill Paxton (playing as character Bill Henrickson) wearing an Omega Speedmaster. This was likely out of his own collection. Season three sees him wearing something similar looking on camera (both steel with black and white faces), but a different watch. I eventually decided that it was an IWC Aquatimer Chrono-Automatic. INCOMING!!!! My first AP set to arrive on Monday
I first really noticed the AP's here on TRF. Kept being drawn to them. We don't have a dealer here in Arizona so I planned to finally be able to look at some in person on a recent trip to Dallas. Along the way, I sold a watch in preparation for the trip. Before I could travel I saw a WG Daytona on here from a trusted seller and pulled the trigger. I love it, so no regrets. Will keep that Daytona forever. It did make it hard to wait though. Fast forward to my trip to grandma's - I was able to look at some AP watches in Dallas at Eisemans (highly recommend them) on the advice of JJ here in the forum. With the purchase of a PM Daytona my budget was limited. I had alerted a couple of trusted sellers on TRF what I was looking for and on Friday I received a message.
