Jaeger-Lecoultre 1758470 wrist watches news:
hey guys,I am new to this forum, having only found out this site a week ago..I hope to get some advice from the experts registered with this site.I have been comtemplating to purchase my grail timepiece for sometime and finally decided the Patek Ref: 5146R. I have seen this myself at a local AD and have to admit that it is truly a beautiful watch. However, sadly to say, I am also attracted to another timepiece: the FP Journe Octa Automatique Lune rosegold. Although I have not seen this piece in real life (only seen the plat CS model), I have no doubt that it is an equally masterful piece. Here comes my dilemma, should I go for the 5146R, or the Journe??I can't afford both. I understand that the Journe would take a much much longer time to arrive at the AD, but I am willing to wait. Please give me your advice..
My wife and I were talking about this the other day, after she spotted an IWC BP on a chef on a cooking show.So we took it a step further and got to thinking about what examples there are of watches entering into the plot. Here's a few to kick things off:1. Felix has insomnia on the Odd Couple. Ultimately Oscar figures out that the insomnia dates back to the same day Felix was gifted an Accutron. Oscar determines that Felix misses the tick tick and solves the problem.2. On All in the Family, Archie buys a certified chronometer at the loading docks that turns out to be "Onega." Archie learns this after bringing the watch to the watchmaker, who explains that it's a fake.3. Seinfeld. During the run of episodes where Jerry and George were writing "The Pilot," Jerry is gifted a watch from his parents. It runs poorly and Jerry throws it in the trash. Later it is found by his Uncle Leo, who has the watch repaired, and Jerry is caught by his father buying the watch back from Uncle Leo
Hi...Can anyone give me a general idea of availability in the UK as I'm thinking of switching to ss over my white gold 5712. Thanks in advance..
So some of you might read my thread on letting go my DJII. I did and found a good grey dealer in the city and they have 3 BLNRs all with good price. Never thought that I will picked this one up, because when BLNR was announced I always thought the blue seems like out of place. But now, I can agree that I think this is the best modern GMT out there. Anyone thinking to grab this, I can ensure you to grab this as soon as possible and don't look back. Even if you need to pay a little bit of the premium. Another thing that I need to highlight is the grey dealer who I've dealt with. Really superb superb service from the staff and the boss lady who was there when I picked up the watch the following day. Anyone wondering the spot just PM me :)
Evening All,I have the possibility of picking up a white SS Sky Dweller in March/April 2018 from a AD local to me in VA for MSRP. All I need to do is put the full amount down, and they've advised they are very likely to be able to source me the watch. Before stating my two questions, I confirm that I have tried on the TT Sky D, which fit like a glove. I tried the TT with a white and black face, and both were equally fabulous. Its a wonderful piece, and I'm looking forward immensely to getting it one day. Its not a watch I plan on selling. Now to my two questions:1. Should I get the White dial version? I ask because what drew me to the watch was the incredible functionality, but in the blue dial. The watch really is a step up in that color. However, I'll likely be really old and grey before I see an AD with all three versions to show me. As things stand, I like the blue, white and black, in that order. However, that's based off pictures, and watches often look different on t
