IWC 3701 wrist watches news:
The Red Dot Awards are international prizes given annually for design excellence in myriad products, from eyeglasses to cars to household appliances. The 2015 winners in the watch category have been announced. (This is the first year that the Essen, Germany-based Red Dot organization separated watches and jewelry into two different categories for judging.)There were two top winners, each earning the title ˇ°Best of the Best.ˇ± One was the most famous, most highly publicized, most vigorously hyped watch in history: the Apple Watch. No need to describe it here. The other was made by a company nearly no one outside the watch world has ever heard of: MB&F, or Max Bu?sser & Friends. Its ˇ°Best of the Bestˇ± watch was the Horological Machine No. 6 Space Pirate. The watch has five domes: two show the time and two are for, as MB&F describes it, ˇ°twin sphered turbines that spin horizontally, automatically regulating the winding system in case of excessive speed to reduce wear and tear.ˇ±
Not long after the introduction of their latest ProTrek flagship, the PRW3000, Casio has announced a new entry-level model that also features the updated Triple Sensor V3 technology. The new Casio PRG270 expands over previous PRG models with the latest Triple Sensor system from Casio and comes in a wide range of colors. Offering improved accuracy and speed, the PRG270 offers an appealing go-anywhere package for those who can to do without atomic synchronized timekeeping.Like all ProTrek watches, the PRG270 is a rather large and hyper-masculine sports watch with a plastic resin case that measures 54.6 by 14.4mm and weighs in at a feathery 67g. Designed for avid outdoorsy types, the PRG270 offers a host of systems for quantifying the wilderness including: a digital compass; altimeter; barometer; and thermometer. All of the standard digital watch features like world time, chronograph, countdown timer, alarm, perpetual calendar, sunrise and sunset timing are also just a button press away.
My son is a cook, so we like to watch cooking shows on TV. My favorite is the Anthony Bourdain show. I've noticed chefs like to wear nice watches.Anyway, I saw this close-up of his watch last night and snapped a screen grab. For the life of me, I can't figure out what this watch is. Please tell me!
These are really starting to grow on me - particularly the black dial rubber clad.I see these as being iconic rather than dated. For me it's like a Ferrari F430. I don't see one drive past and think it's an old Ferrari, it's an F430 However someone I know is trying to put me off buying one saying it's dated now. What says the forum?
How much would I pay for a new 5270 in the Uk ?Thanks in advance
