Sorry for the pics, just got it and don't have my camera, so here's some quick and dirty from my iphone....I've been meaning to get a TAg but they're just too small I'm glad they made a 44mm, and at such a great price. I'm lovin' this one so far.
I posted a quick "teaser" shot of this in another post yesterday, but finally got around to taking some proper pictures today. My birthday was on Tuesday and, as you'd expect, I got a new watch to add to my collection Yes, it's a Seiko Black Monster. I know that there are umpteen thousand pictures of Orange and Black Monsters on this and other sites, and it seems that nearly every member has one, but I'm still going to do a full post anyways because I absolutely love this watch! After wearing it for a few days, I can see why it's so popular among watch enthusiasts. Despite the size and heft, it's really comfortable on the wrist. So here you go, some pictures of my new Black Monster.Box Shots:Some Detail Shots:Bracelet and Clasp:Clasp with Diving Extension:Wrist Shots:
I adore the nautilus. I have never owned one but I am thinking about it. First thing that bothers me about the watch is the shape of the dial. IMO its not perfect. If you look at the 10-11 hour indices the dial, case and crystal is slightly angular. Same thing for the other three corners. Now, this appears to be a consious decision but I just dont understand why. Would it not be better if there was no angles and it was a smooth curve? What do you think?Second thing is the clasp of the bracelet. It seems to be a bit thin and looks like it would open while wearing. I am not saying the whole bracelet will open but that little flap with the calatrava. IMO if it opens even once in a week thats too much. Did you have any problems with the clasp?
