Longines Longines 7146 wrist watches news:
Hi I am in a tough situation. I wanted to have an Omega either Seamaster or a Speedy. I went to visit an AD at my place. And told me Seamaster is much a better watch than a speedy ("you don't go to the moon anyway?, right?"..AD). Anyways, there were some issues on the caliber 2500 which worries me much and the reliability of the 1863 on a 3573.50.00 Black Speedy which makes me lean on this one for now.But what I really like is the Seamaster 2254.50 but I guess this is hard to find nowadays and being a newbie am afraid to buy them used online. Is there a reputable delaer that sells this SM?As for the Speedy (sandwich), I am itching to pull the trigger anytime now. I don't mind winding this everyday as long as the caliber is reliable and durable, am good.Any thoughts? Ramje
Finally a Photo. Not the best.Anyway , this is what she got me for Xmas. I like it very much. One badass watch. [IMG][/IMG]
Thought some of you might find this interesting.I have no financial interest......except I bought one. -books-space#/The link occasionally does not connect. Try again. If it still doesn't work, go to indiegoge and search Apollo 11.
Hello all,My Rolex AD, who also sells PP, just got in a 5990 and offered it to me today. I have been on the waitlist for the 5711 blue for a little over a year and he implied that snagging this would push me up the list. I have tried the watch on and like the look and feel of it - but not sure if it is a definite keeper. I'm also having trouble gauging a fair price to pay to somewhat protect myself in case it doesn't stick around forever (I'm getting 2% off for check instead of CC).Has anyone here bought one and decided it wasn't for them? What was your reason? From my basic knowledge and understanding of PP, I know 11/12 are the most popular SS nautilus models, how is the 5990 relatively speaking?
Please forgive me for beginning this thread before owning the watch. Since seeing it in real life on Friday, it has become a must have. In my search for a precious metal watch - and believe me, I have explored all options - this Gondolo is now at the top of my list.Having long been an admirer of Patek Philippe, and having actually tried on a couple of models, I have never found one that really has enough versatility for my lifestyle. It would be an injustice to the brand for me to acquire a Patek Philippe mainly for the purpose of being able to say that I own one. Perhaps there will be others after I acquire this one, which should occur within the next few months. For some reason, I really want a rectangular shape for what may be my only precious metal watch. There are not many reviews, comments or posts online in reference to the Gondolo, and I was a bit underwhelmed by many of the photos I saw. That was before I saw this beauty in the display window of the AD here in Vancouver. These
