Longines L2.744.4.56.7 wrist watches news:
I am thinking of engraving my Datejust if I ever get it back from the service it has been to for almost 3 months. I know I probably will screw up the value of the watch and I actually don't mind because I have no intentions to ever sell it and I want to make it more personal. I was wondering if any of you have ever engraved one of your Rolex's?If so then please post some photos of it.I know it is possible to laser engrave them in some way. What do you people believe looks the best, laser engraved or normal engraved.I have no ide what to engrave in it yet. It is just something I want to do some time in the future wean I know what to engrave. Here is a photo of Eisenhower's Rolex. The photo is from rolexblog.blogspot Jake's Rolex Watch Blog
I have been reading in these forums for quite awhile. I have noticed that many of you enjoy vintage watches. Anyway, tonight I was looking on ebay an found an older Elgin Sportsman automatic wind watch. The auction ends in 11 hours. The bid is at about $25 with shipping. What is a decent price for this watch? Does anyone know?
Hello guys..I know I might sound silly with these post. I have 6 watches and just one of them which have a brown strap fits with brown shoes/belt. The best combination are those watches in bracelet and in white dial. I wear a suit most of the times. Could you please post some of your favorite watches with go with brown belt/shoes in business attire?Blessings...
My AD called me today to come see what had arrived. I didn't realize this was a color combo that was released for the 9300 version of the '57. I had only seen the white/blue and black combos. I have to say that this color version is stunning. They also put it on the polished/brushed Aqua Terra bracelet which makes me want to get the same bracelet for my Speedy 9300. The price tag on the new '57 is $9,200. Which, in short--is insane.Wears MUCH bigger than the 41.5 size.Overall...I think it is beautiful. Full exhibition back too--no steel.
If you are a automatic watch enthusiast like myself, these test are not only mandatory but interesting and fun. . .I love knowing what my watches movements are capable of. . These test are also a very good idea to keep a record of your automatics performance for future reference. .If your time starts to slip or power reserve starts to fall, you know its time for a service. . On with the test.........I just finished a main spring / power reserve test of my new Panerai N Pam 104. . . I started the the test Sunday morning at 9am by winding the watch fully and setting the time. . I then set the watch in my watch box making sure not to touch or move it for the duration of the test. .I then periodically monitored its accuracy as the mainspring winds down . . . The power reserve spec for the OPIII movement is 42 hours... My results were surprising. .The watch has be regulate to a incredibly high standard. . .The OPIII movement in my watch keeps a outstanding accuracy rate of 0 seconds + or -
