Am I the only one who likes the cal 324 rotor noise?
Recently picked up an aquanaut while Waiting for the nautilus and noticed the zipping sound of the rotor.It kind of reminds me of the 7750 movements where you can feel the rotor spinning. I can actually feel the rotor a little on the 5167, too, if I pay close attention.I like it as it makes the watch feel alive, if that makes sense.Anyone here share the sentiment? I guess the 5711 has it too, as it shares the same movement?Some pics of the 5167': (as I know you guys like pics)

PAM 441 and the ceramic bracelet
I have a 441 model with the OEM brown strap. I went to the Panerai boutique store in NYC to purchase the ceramic strap to replace the brown strap. I was told it is not possible and the ceramic strap will not fit the 441. So i purchased a black smooth leather strap and it looks quite good. However, as i browse TRF i have see a number of 441's offered for sale with the ceramic bracelet. I even saw the trusted DavidSW selling a 441 with the bracelet included as well as the brown strap. Can any one knowledgeable the model advise please? Thank you

Hi All,Yesterday, I purchased my first Rolex... after wanting one since 1998 (or so). In 1998, I entered a jewelry shop and noticed a rose gold Rolex Daytona. I fell in love with it, but at the time, $6,000 (if I recall correctly) for a watch was outside of my price range. Now... with 20/20 hindsight, it would have been a good investment. The rose gold Daytona cemented my infatuation with rose gold. When I purchased a jewelry gift for my wife, it would be in rose gold. Whenever I looked at jewelry, I would be drawn to rose gold.Fast forward to last week. I was in Chicago at a research conference (I am a Professor) and I wanted to purchase a set of platinum diamond earrings for my wife to replace a set I bought her early in our relationship. We were skydiving and she lost one of the earrings a couple of years ago, and I have been meaning to get her a new set ever since. In Chicago, I found a diamond broker on ��Jewelry Row�� and designed a replacement set of earrings. While I wa
