Panerai PAM00140 wrist watches news:
was going to post these in my other thread but decided they should have their own :)super high-res available on request! enjoy!
I'm trying to get more information about this pocket watch. It's rather small, 14k yellow gold case, Longines and the dial is about 1" in circumference. Based on the serial# it dates back to about 1904. It's not running. I'm trying to figure out hoe many jewels it has and any other pertinent information and was hoping you guys could help. Thank youIMG_5107.jpgIMG_5108.jpgIMG_5110.jpgIMG_5111.jpgIMG_5113.jpg
It appears to be pretty old but the movement is still quite good. I wanna take an estimate and say it's around the 1950-60 and it does have a gold bezel. After market strap as well. No model was written on it and nothing other than 18k gold stamping on the back as well as longines Swiss made. Could anyone elaborate in this wristwatch or maybe give me a ball park of your price range about it? Thanks for your time and sorry if this thread interrupts your normal thread viewing.-mike
Just got a 15400 and I liked it, it was nice, it was handsome, it was comfortable. It was a nice companion to its 44mm steel novelty cousin that was already a part of the small stable. But I really wanted something more 'daily' wear oriented, something that I can wear without too much concern for scratches and scuffs.I tried to ignore the numerous photos and advice that certain members around here were dispensing........and then I tried IT on.......and it SPOKE to me, and the deed was done. Out with the 15400 and in with .......well lets keep this a surprise until it arrives. But feel free to guess
Hello all, I'm a city public school teacher, run a couple non-profits where I mentor youth, and I grind the 1/2 and 2/5 seen in holdem and pot limit omaha. The first two pay me spiritually, and the later has been good the last couple months, so I have found it's time to fill the poker grinder stereotype and get a nice watch since card rooms never have a clock.Below is my first potential Rolex purchase. I know a little less about Rolex watches than I do kangaroo birth, so much so that I had to type Rolex watches because I can't figure out the plural of Rolex. Can't be the guy who says shrimps, am I right? *pics removed*The person claims that it needs the mainspring fixed on the second hand.My questions are:Does it seem legit?Who should I bring it to to fix it? Any watch smith or do they need to specialize in Rolexessss's?What would a fair used price be for this? Thanks for anyone who reads this!--
