The stainless steel tonnneau case is generously proportioned at 43 x 46mm. Inside is the 51 jewel automatic caliber CFB 1902 with 42 hour power reserve. Available on strap and on bracelet, with silver or gray dial. You can learn more about the ChronoGrade at the Carl F. Bucherer website.
Invicta Men Swiss Made SW200 Automatic 200M 18K GP 2Tone Stainless Steel Watch ebay/itm/Casio-PRO-TR...3D161706460523So I want to spend $100 dollars. Pro trek is on sale at SAMs club for $99. And the Invicta automatic I feel I can win it for $100. Casio has the Compass sensor but Invicta has the SW200 auto.
26320 for around 18.5k new. 26331 for around 22k new. Will the 26331 depreciate down to 17k used like the 26320? Should I wait til the hype dies down? I like the panda look but I like all 3 sundials same size and date window position on original...Hard call.
I am looking at getting my hands on a new watch in the next few months.Already have a Rolex Sea Dweller ( 2008, last of the non fatboys!). The watch is not a fashion purchase but in effect a memorial / personal reminder. Our father passed away recently and so my Sister and I intend to buy a watch each, She is after a Ladies Rolex, myself, and now the crux of the Post a Brietling ( maybe!!). Torn between the Navitimer and the Superocean Chrono . I know very little about Breitling, but I am after a Pilots watch. The Rolex covers my current career the Pilots watch an earlier life milestone. I know this will be a personal choice but any wise words regards depreciation , reliability etc . I love the leather strap but believe they fail more frequently than one would like and are silly money to replace !I do like the Rolex GMT bimetallic but is that just too similar to the SD ( I know , it's different but the Rolex gene is strong)Your thoughts?Any ideas as to what discounts UK AD's are doing?
It's been only a few days, but here are some initial thoughts on my new 5711/1a versus the 5712/1a, which I used to own. First, IMHO, it is a WIN either way. Wrist presence:Both have great wrist presence despite their thin case. Dial:I think the 5711 feels more grand because there is more uninterrupted space on the magical blue dial. I think the 5712/1a dial is more interesting with the complications and the asymmetry (which I know some do not like, but I certainly did and still do). I also like the hints of red on the 5712/1a dial. WR:With the higher WR on the 5711, I feel a little more secure, but this largely is irrelevant since I probably won't use this in a pool/ocean anyway - but it's nice to know I can if needed. The backside:I love the 240 movement and the micro rotor. From an aesthetic standpoint, I think the 5712 wins here, but the 324 is no slouch and is also easy on the eyes. And, I feel good with the 324 on this since I have a 240 movement in another watch, so a little div
