Need long 22mm Zulu Strap, Anyone?
OK, so I'm looking for a zulu strap in 22mm that'll fit a 9 1/2" wrist. Need it to fit over a 7mm wetsuit, and most of the Zulu's seem to only go 9". I've checked the sponsor sites, but unless any of them can chime in that they have longer straps they're not advertising I can't seem to find one.Considering that one of the primary features of nato & zulu's is for diving I'd have thought finding one that'll fit over a wetsuit would be pretty easy. Doesn't seem that way. Anyone have any ideas? Looking for a plain black, but open to any that'll fit a 9 1/2" wrist. Thanks!

A tale of two Officers...
Well kind of Some time ago I was lucky to get my hands on a Bernhardt Officer watch. I had two in the past and really liked them. I got a two tone dialed one. Since I like lume I ended up replacing the dial with something else. I was then left with a spare dial that I tried to sell but did not. Then I got another Officer watch and then another. I really liked them. I decided to put to use the spare dial and got another watch similar to the Officer, a 45 mm steel cased watch with sapphire crystal and a Swiss made engine that one has to wind by hand - ETA/Unitas 6497 movement. After experimenting with the hands I ended up using these in the photos. I also decided that the original hands on the Bernhardt Officer were a little short so I got some slightly longer, blued ones.I thought to share so here is the result. Oh, I put them both on leather for the photoshoot, since I thought that they looked best this way. Of course there are many other options in terms of colors and textu

15300 Back from Service
As promised, photos of my blue dial 15300...H Serial, post Spa.The impetus for sending to Clearwater was a broken hairspring, but a full-service was required. OUCH! So...I also decided to have the marks (mostly on bezel and near lugs) removed via a refinish. The bracelet was looking a tad worn, but now all is up to snuff.The watch definitely needs more TLC than a Rolex but I do love it.
