Its one of my great watches and enjoy showing it off with the boys. Large numbers and dont need to use my glases when im outhere having fun. just need to watch the band it comes off once in a wile.

I just posted a thread showing off my two new Swiss Army divers where I mentioned I only owned four quartz watches;74.50.21.220/~watch18/forums/showthread.php?t=12590These are the other half of my quartz collection. The Mondaine is known well enough, But I think the Alessi is hardly known at all. At least, I never heard about it until I came across a review of the watch over at GMT+9;gmtplusnine/2007/09/07/on-the-record/I don't wear either of these watches, rather, they sit in a watch box on my writing desk where I can admire them for their simplicity.I do love the three hands.For the curious - that's me and my boy and then that's my late grandfather and me. Where's the time go?

To The Purists
One of the things that I like about AP aficionado's is that they/we can appreciate and enjoy watches of all sizes. To me it is one of the only brands that embraces some pretty varied watch sizes. And does so well!
