New member looking for Case removal tool
Just found this great forum the other week and didn't realise my interest in watches. I currently have 2 longines (quartz & mechanical), a 1982 120M quartz Omega seamaster, a Titoni Airmaster, 3 Elgin pocket watches and a Planet Ocean with mesh on order (for the last 3 months, grrrr). The Titoni & the quartz Seamaster both need repair Living in Melbourne Australia, Where can I purchase a tool to remove the back of these?ThanksRob

A very positive story about Omega Service Center
After deciding to take my two month old 39.2mm Railmaster off the market and keep it, I began trying to take some real close up photos of it without getting all the reflection off the domed sapphire crystal. Well, while doing so this past Thursday, I noticed something on the right side of the minute hand. I took it out in direct sunlight to get a better look and got a pinpoint reflection off of the something. I then got my 10x loupe and sure enough there was some kind of debris or gunk on the right hand side of the hand (I think it was Luminova left on the side of the hand when they finished it off at the factory). I had never noticed it until then, but I knew that knowing that it's there was going to bug me.I live about 45 minutes away from the Omega Service Center in Los Angeles, but I had read so many negative things about Omega Service Centers on this forum (long waits, etc.) I was hesitant to take it in. However, I have two other Omegas plus my Rolex to wear so I figured I co

I finally broke down and did it. This past Saturday I went into the AD and bought my first Rolex. I've been lusting after this watch for the better part of a decade, and I finally found the right time in my life to make it happen. I'm the kind of guy who normally wears one watch for several years at a time and doesn't really rotate watches based on my mood or the day of the week.
